The much awaited 19th edition of the ‘Dubai International Boat show’ to be held from 1st to 5th March, at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi is just around the corner. With the world’s largest gathering of SYB (Super Yatch Builders) and their envied collection of luxury liners, speed boats and super cars, it continues creating history of groundbreaking sales.
Last year this event recorded attendance by 23,000 visitors and the number estimated this year is more than 25,000 visitors. This is an iconic and important event for the manufacturers to showcase their wares to the elite Middle East buyers, who account for 33% of the super yachts owned globally. It has built on the reputation of being the established, chosen and trusted event, by the Yatch manufacturing companies. Participants confirmed this year are Al Yousuf (Yamaha), Danish Yachts, Emirates Boats, Princess Yachts among many others. Organisers have already promised 8 global and 25 regional launches. ‘Gulf Craft’, alone, will be showcasing 14 boats and 4 global launches. The Arabian Gulf Yachting Awards recognised ‘Dubai International Boat Show’ as the ‘Marine Event of the Year’ in the third consecutive year. The Dubai International Boat Show is recognised by the IFBSO (International federation of Boat Show Organisers).
The SuperYachts Pavilion and the Enhanced SuperYacht Boulevard will exhibit some of the finest luxury yachts, the world has to offer. Latest models from Brabus, Invador Technologies and Porsche will be displayed at the Supercar promenade. The External Area will exhibit the world’s best fishing and small pleasure boats, water sports equipment and hi speed motorboats.
The 5th Dive Middle East Exhibition (DMEX) will also be a feature of this show. Visitors can watch the live demonstration and also check out ‘Try A Dive’ session. At the Heritage village, visitors can have glimpse of the past. Live entertainment will be provided throughout the show. Scuba diving sessions, trial dives, competitions and prize giveaways will also be a part of the show.
