Resident VISA for Dubai & UAE..? Fingerprint required..!

People applying for a Resident VISA in the UAE will be required to give their fingerprints. Purpose of this procedure, set up by Federal Naturalisation and Residency Department and announced by Nasser Al Awadi Al Minhali, its general director, is to be sure about identity of applicants and to make sure they have no criminal record.

Residents living in the UAE will be fingerprinted when applying for renewal of their visa. Cost for the applicant has not been defined yet.

A fingerprint database will be set up in Naturalisation and Residency Department in order to observe all across the UAE, activities and people potentially dangerous and keep the high level of security.
