Si è appena concluso un fantastico week end di gara, al sole di Dubai: lo Skydive Dubai & Dubai Duty Free Grand Prix del Class 1 World Powerboat Championship 2011 sono terminati oggi, regalando al Victory team l’11° titolo mondiale. Per i nostri lettori che non erano presenti a Dubai, ecco alcuni degli HighLights di questo week end di gara: le prove, la pole position, le due gare (). Ferrari Enzo abbandonata a Dubai
In un deposito giudiziario della polizia di Dubai, oramai già da mesi giace una Ferrari Enzo, completamente ricoperta di sabbia e in stato di abbandono. Questo è accaduto a Dubai, città dove in effetti si possono vedere parecchie auto di questo tipo (alle spalle si vede un Porsche Cayenne Turbo), probabilmente “vittime”, dei neo-miliardari rampanti che popolano le vie del lusso di Dubai ma che poi non riescono a sostenere lo stile di vita. Forse anche questa vettura apparteneva a qualche finanziere che poi non è stato più in grado di mantenerla, oppure ha dovuto vedersela pignorata per pagare i debiti. Ferrari in fiamme a Dubai su Jumeirah Road: ecco il video
Non ci sono al momento dettagli sull’accaduto. Ricordiamo che già in passato la Ferrari aveva richiamato 1.248 modelli 458 Italia dopo cinque casi accertati (ma potrebbero essere di più) di incendio dell’auto. Analizzando le Ferrari bruciate in Francia, Inghilterra, Stati Uniti, Svizzera e Cina, gli ingegneri di Maranello avevano individuato il problema nel collante utilizzato insieme a rivetti per fissare una paratia paracalore (ubicata fra passaruota posteriore e collettore di scarico) che in particolari condizioni di “elevata temperatura ambientale e uso estremo della vettura” può surriscaldarsi e dare luogo ad una fiammata, che può a sua volta degenerare in un incendio.
