Burj Khalifa (Burj Dubai) the tallest building in the world: of course located in Dubai
Burj Khalifa (Arabic: برج خليفة ” Khalifa Tower”), is the recent name given to Burj Dubai, after its inauguration, in honour of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (Arabic: خليفة بن زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان), (born 1948), the current President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and emir of Abu Dhabi. Burj Khalifa is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and actually the tallest man-made structure ever built, at 828 m (2,717 ft). Construction began on 21 September 2004, with the exterior of the structure completed on 1 October 2009. Ferrari Dubai: quando una targa vale più di un’auto…
Come già discusso in un altro articolo Le targhe delle auto a Dubai e negli UAE non sempre è il valore dell’auto a fare la differenza. Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, perfino una Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S, potrebbe impallidire davanti a una “comune” auto con una targa personalizzata. A Dubai una targa con 1, 2 o 3 cifre, fa molto più status symbol dell’auto stessa; si ricorda che come già detto nell’altro post Sua Eccellenza Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum utilizza per gli spostamenti quotidiani una Mercedes Classe G (guidata personalmente), con targa numero 1 mentre suo figlio Shaikh Rashid guida una Mercedes Classe G con targa numero 5. Jumeirah Beach Park in Dubai
ITALIANO La Jumeirah Beach (la spiaggia di Jumeirah) si estende per alcuni chilometri lungo la costa di Dubai (Emirati Arabi). Lungo la Jumeirah Beach si trovano il Burj al Arab (il famoso hotel a 7 stelle, dalla forma di una vela), il Jumeirah Beach Hotel, il Wild Wadi e il Jumeirah Beach Park, un lido organizzato con sdraio, lettini, ombrelloni, spogliatoi, ma anche tante palme sotto cui stendersi. Il parco, aperto nel 1989, è stato il primo Beach Park aperto in Dubai.
