Job Description: Job Description:–

The key scope of this role focuses on; efficiently and effectively managing all incoming individual and group cruise reservation inquiries in compliance with set service levels, revenue assigned targets and standard operational procedures. The wider scope of the role will include marketing support, hands on telesales, database management and management reports.
Experience: 1 – 5 Years
Education: Higher Secondary
Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include: –

a. Assume ownership of the reservation business and support the needs for adequate coverage to meet the requirements of the Middle East travel trade.
b. The key accountability is focused on converting enquiries into bookings.
c. Generate additional revenue by way of up–selling and add on product sales.
d. Ensure that the company accounting procedures are adhered to at all times.
e. Plan and conduct telesales in compliance with an effective focus and tracking of results.
f. Support, coordinate and follow up on marketing initiatives; mailers, promotions, incentives.
g. Further develop and maintain a travel trade database.
h. Attend regular team meetings, reporting on booking business, trends, successes and challenges.
i. Attend trade functions/shows where appropriate/required.
j. Support and perform other tasks and duties not specifically outlined herein but which are logically inherent to the position or the incumbent’s experience

1) Technical Skills:–

a) Knowledge, understanding and expertise required to carry out the Work effectively Confidentiality.
b) Fully protect confidential information ensuring that it is only accessible to those authorised to have access

2) Negotiating Skills:–

a) The ability to garner additional availability of products where customer demand dictates
b) Effectively apply skills and techniques of negotiating, including understanding other party’s needs and agenda
c) The ability to effectively manage complex bookings to reach acceptable agreement between multiple parties, each with their own needs and agenda, and where leverage is limited
d) The ability to convince others to agree on or to take a course of action

3) Communication Skills:–

a) The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, orally and in writing at all levels
b) Exercise tact and diplomacy to express disagreement without causing offence
c) The ability to deal with questions on subject matter and be able to adapt communication style for different audiences

4) Management & Interpersonal Skills:–

a) The ability to create and maintain open and constructive relationships with others, to respond helpfully to their requests and to be sensitive to their needs
b) Work co–operatively and flexibly with other members of the team with a full understanding of the role to be played as a member of the team

5) Analytical Skills:–

a) The knowledge and skill to undertake analysis and interpretation of a range of data
b) The capacity to analyse situations, diagnose problems, identify the key issues, establish and evaluate alternative courses of action and produce logical, practical and acceptable solution(s). c) Continuous understanding of the business process and the ability to consistently align initiatives to the Company’s Goal and strategies
a) Supporting and Managing Change.
b) Adjust to a rapidly changing business.
c) The ability to influence others to act.
