Our client is an International distribution & trading company dealing in Plastic Raw Materials & Chemicals, with a turnover of 350M employing circa 55 people. Due to their expansion, they are currently seeking a Key Account Executive in order to support the Export Sales Manager Africa.

Job description:

Develop business within existing clients.
Increase the turnover while also increasing the level of margins.
Create new accounts. Be aware of clients and partners needs.
Manage the whole sales cycle up to the final payment with the sales team.

In order to achieve this, you will receive the necessary support from all departments concerned (purchasing, sales and finance) as well as from the international sourcing team. You will therefore work within a multicultural, multidisciplinary and international team. You will report to the Export Sales Manager (market analysis, price, competition, recovery) and work in close collaboration together.

Candidate profile:

Independent and well organised.
Strong commercial profile.
Self–motivated, proactive and reactive, team player.
Ability to communicate and negotiate, build and sustain relationships.
Willing to travel (8 to 10 times every year).
Service minded, energetic, reliable and able to work under pressure.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 or 3 years in Plastics Industry and International Trade.
Experience in the African continent will be a significant advantage.
Good knowledge of international trade within the petrochemical industry.
Fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Education:

Masters Degree in Business school or equivalent.
Candidate having a bachelors degree will be considered based on significant experience.
