75 cars get underway in the seventh edition of the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai

A massive field of 75 cars took to the grid for the start of the seventh edition of the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai with the Dubai Based AUH Motorsport FF Corse Ferrari heading the field after qualifying in pole position with Rob Barff at the wheel.

In fact it was the Ferrari, with Barff again in the cockpit, that got the early lead only after a battle with Peter Kox in the Reiter Lamborghini LP600 and the AF Corse Ferrari with Niki Cadei doing the first stint for the Italian squad.

After the first hour the abovementioned trio were still battling at the front, but also in the battle was the Abu Dhabi Falcons Mercedes SLS AMG with Emirati ace Khalid Al Qubaisi in the line-up and the Prince Abdulaziz Al Faisal led Saudi falcons by Schubert BMW team.

The race started at 14.00pm and is scheduled to run until 14.00pm on Saturday.
